Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• 20+ years in the upstream petroleum industry, with oil & gas field appraisal, development and production experience
• University degree in a technical area such as geosciences or engineering
• Relevant business and planning experience
• Good working knowledge of project economics
• Sound experience with host government and venture relationships
• Experience with subsurface and field development planning tools and processes

Job Accountabilities and Management Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of NCOC N.V. Leadership Team and Crisis Management Team.
• Serve as the Secretary of the Shareholder Advisory Committee (SAC) and support the SAC Co-Chairs.
• Serve as the Process Owner for the NCOC N.V. Corporate Management System (CMS) - Hydrocarbon Maturation and Well Delivery and accountability for the Field Development Project (FDP) for Kashagan and other discoveries consistent with RoK Subsoil Use Code and NCSPSA.

• As requested by the Managing Director, serve on internal NCOC Committees such as the Operations Integrity Committee, Process Safety Committee, People Committee, Mortgage Board and others.
• Lead the Technical Directorate organization to perform efficiently, effectively and safely on NCOC and related company activities. Manage, control & coordinate organization, resources and activities directly reporting to him/her, liaising with other NCOC N.V. functions as appropriate.
• Forecasting and reporting of production and injection volumes and communicating any reserves changes information to the Co-Venturers and authorities. Managing and supervising development / maintenance /utilization of static and dynamic models for NCSPSA subsurface assets.
• Managing and supervising development planning and concept selection studies for NCSPSA subsurface and surface assets including brownfield projects supporting existing operations and new greenfield developments.
• Managing and coordinating Geomatics Services activities for the Venture.
• Oversee the effective design and implementation of the organization of Information and Technology Management (ITM), in line with NCOC N.V. requirements, improvements, constraints and opportunities, from governance to operations. Supporting NCOC N.V. digitalization agenda, oversee identification and execution of immediate and future synergies to re-use solutions and to harmonize and optimize applications portfolio, platforms and infrastructures.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with NCOC N.V. CMS processes and procedures, applying value and quality assurance processes.
• Ensuring that all new field installations or modifications thereof of the NCSPSA in Kazakhstan are designed in compliance with Kazakh laws and regulations, with particular focus on Health, Safety and Environment protection and compliance with Labor legislation
• Ensuring technical guidance and necessary standardization for all engineering teams within the NCOC N.V using proper knowledge and information management tools.
• Reviewing subsurface development scheme during execution stage and to initiating change for optimizing scheme accordingly, based on new data
